About This Project

Radish is a premier online farmer’s market dedicated to showcasing local, small-batch artisanal makers and their original products. Founded with the goal of connecting the best independent food producers to a national audience, Radish makes it easy for shoppers to fall in love with new flavors, discover unique products, and connect with the individuals who craft their goods by hand. Radish delivers products right to customers’ doorsteps. This facilitates a more transparent and personal food system for all. Every product is made using wholesome, sustainable ingredients without anything artificial, GMO, or inhumanely raised.

Radish customers can seamlessly edit their boxes online according to their weekly needs and tastes. Through an easy-to-use platform, people will be able to change quantities, customize ingredients, and even pause deliveries. They will also be able to add artisan-crafted bread, pastured eggs, and grass-fed butter, as well as selections like U.S.-harvested sea salt and olive oils from the Radish marketplace.

Radish’s mission is to provide food with a story, supporting small farmers and makers with a transparent approach that allows customers to virtually meet the people behind the offerings. Farmers are the heart of their companies, from Brooklyn Grange, a rooftop farm in NYC, to the women-owned Little Wild Things Farm in DC. Users can enjoy their local, heirloom fruits and vegetables in addition to sustainable meats from Stryker Farm in Pennsylvania, wild seafood directly from Sitka Salmon Shares in Alaska, artisan-made cheeses from Jasper Hill and Consider Bardwell in Vermont, and hundreds of small-batch products from around the US.

Radish was a freelance project that included user experience, brand design and business strategy development. They are currently in the seed funding round and have already raised close to $1.5 million.
