SoulCycle was founded in 2006— before the boutique fitness space was even defined. Because of this, they needed to build out and maintain their own POS and booking system in order to fit their needs and the needs of their customers. Over time, both the market and the business model changed. This means the internal manager system needed to evolve as well.
