Sharp needed an idea to attract people to their booth at the 2013 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) and convert as many as possible into new social media friends and followers.
Sharp Faces in the Crowd. We set up 6, 90” smart TVs and hired caricature artists to draw directly onto the large screens. The displays were synced with a custom Facebook application we created just for the show. The app allowed participants to easily share their artwork, which included an unobtrusive message from Sharp, on Facebook. The application also included a virtual tour of CES for people who could not attend. Some items included were 360° views of products, live interviews and live streams of keynote speeches.
